Responsibilities:

* This position involves participating in Financial and Risk Domain projects as a business analyst.
* This position will perform as a functional expert of assigned applications which entails detailed analysis on operational and project related tasks.
* Gain detailed product and database knowledge to perform as a functional expert of assigned applications
* Perform detailed analysis for troubleshooting purposes or related to project tasks
* Analyze user requirements and develop solutions
* Work with programmers and other technical resources to refine and meet those requirements
* Perform application testing
* Develop project documentation as required
* Work directly with users to understand and resolve issues
* Document business requirements and use cases
* Develop user documentation
* Deliver user training as needed
* Assist team members with analysis and project related tasks

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or Computer Science
* 1 – 2 years experience in performing detailed analysis tasks
* Experience in a legal environment a plus
* Excellent analytical ability
* Business process knowledge a plus
* Good communications skills with ability to work with all levels of personnel
* Good writing skills
* Work well independently, as well as a team member
* Ability to translate functional issues and questions into application solutions
* Knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Access and Excel, and MS Project

* He/She shall be responsible for verifying quality deliverables for a defined project. Technical responsibilities include targeted testing (positive, negative and boundary), regression testing, documentation, time management, defect tracking and adherence to existing standards and best practices.
