<p>Develop strong infobroker competencies allowing us to offer data and competitive research solutions.</p>

<p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Regional Office 8 is conducting a Free Training on Finishing Course for Call Center Agents and Korean Training Language Course, Regional Director Juan M. Sabulao, Jr., informed.<br />

Director Sabulao said that the two training will be conducted at the Language Skills Institute, Regional Training Center, Barangay Abucay, Tacloban City, under the PGMA- Training for Work Scholarship Project with August 4, 2008 as the target date.</p>
<p>In this connection, Director Sabulao is inviting the media people through the Philippine Information Agency, who were invited last year and have signified their intention to avail of the programs or courses under the PGMA Training for Work Scholarship Project.</p>
<p>Director Sabulao disclosed that TESDA can arrange a special schedule for the media people who are willing to avail of the program. They can enroll either in the Finishing Course for Call Center Agents or Korean Language Course at the Language Skills Institute - Regional Training Center.</p>
<p>The PGMA Training for Work Scholarship Program was launched by President Arroyo in May of 2006 as tribute to the Filipino worker who needs more training in order to be employed. This program which is being implemented nationwide through the TESDA is hoped to make possible employment for Filipino workers.</p>

<p>How many times have we heard stories of people being harassed and mugged on their way to and from work during late hours? The working force of call centers are constantly exposed to dangers like this because of all the bad elements that prowl the streets during the wee hours of the morning.</p>
<p>In the spirit of Labor Day this coming May 1, 2008, we would like to propose that Call Centers offer free shuttle services to night-shift employees for their own safety. The service won&#8217;t have to bring all of them home directly but at least drop them off in secure places that have decent lighting with access to public transportation.</p>
