System Administrator

Responsibilities:

* -Monitor SAP and BW subsystems,batch jobs,output,message,queues,system dumps,transactional websites and SAP bolt-on applications.
* -Manage IBM OS/400 ptf’s,SAP support packs and kernel updates
* -Define and mange printers.
* -Administer password unlocks and reset request.
* -Perform 1st level troubleshooting for Infrastructure and Systems (ie. SAP landscape,Microsoft Window Server,Window XP,Network Connectivity)
* -To escalate to high level support if problem identified cannot be resolved
* -Coordinate with the local IT team members and supervise on appropriate downtimes needed for faulty equipment replacements, vendor on-site troubleshooting and vendor on-site installations.(i.e. situations that require a downtime or will cause any interruptions to the Manila normal operation hours of 10 pm to 7am)
* -To work with the local IT team members to carry out preventive checks on the Manila infrastructure so as to ensure business will have a lesser possibility of encountering issues that will disrupt the operations.
* -Assist with restore of data request.
* -Respond to IT tasks assigned according to SLA and on-call escalation schedule.
* -Assist with the daily backup procedures and ensure that backups are completed.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
* Required skill(s): CCNA, IBM I series, SAP.
* Preferred skill(s): IBM I series
* Required language(s): English.
* Preferred language(s): Filipino.
* Good knowledge in Microsoft Servers Operation System, Microsoft Client Operation System and Hardware
* Some knowledge of using IBM Ops Navigator Tool
* Some knowledge of SAP’s Solution Manager
* Good Troubleshooting and problem analytical skills
* Client focus, good inter-personal & communication skills
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong.
* Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
